Grape Variety: TEMPRANILLO.
Winemaking: Pre-fermentative maceration during 5 days. Alcoholic fermentation tooks place in stainless steel vats with daily overpumpings. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in the same vats.
Ageing: 12 Months in French Oak barrels.

Finca Valdepoleo is one of the most iconic Pujanza Vineyards where every year an accurate viticulture work is carried out according to orographical criteria.

Vineyard: FINCA VALDEPOLEO. 17,5 has. (43 acres) vineyard planted in 1973 at 630 m. (2.070 ft.). of altitude. Clay-limestone soil. Yield: 4.500 kg/ha.
Location: Laguardia, D.O.Ca. Rioja.
Grape Variety: TEMPRANILLO.
Winemaking: Fermentation tooks place in small stainless steel vats divided by soil types. Malolactic fermentation is made in same tanks.
Ageing: 14 months in French Oak.

Harvest date: 14th September of 2015
Vinification & Ageing: After a careful selection in the vineyard, grapes suffered a cold maceration during several hours. Soft pressing & start of alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vat. After three days, fermentation continued in French oak barrels of  225 & 500 L. Ageing time took place in same barrels for 14 months. Alcohol content: 13,50 % Vol.
