Anthonij Rupert Blend 2010

Complex melange of cassis, spice, tobacco leaf and fruitcake with a whiff of violets adding a lift. The palate replicates what the nose offers up with superb harmony of fruit and oak. Ample ripe black fruit, Christmas pudding, spice and cigarbox - all beautifully underpinned by refined oaking. This wine is like a ballroom dancer, gliding around in white tie and tails! Lithe, supple, elegant and effortlessly silky smooth and regal. The aftertaste lingers long after the mouthfeel has been enjoyed.

Cape Of Good Hope Parel Vallei Merlot 2012

Vivacious mulberry brightness with a spiced cocoa nuance on the bouquet. The palate is rich and beautifully ripe with playful cherry, fruitcake, and blueberry notes. Light and deceptively approachable, there are inky graphite depths to be explored. Layered and deep with restrained power, the wine is refined, structured and elegantly poised. Dry, spicy nuances from integrated oak maturation, the wine is rounded and velvety smooth with a lasting aftertaste.

L'Ormarins Brut Classique NV

Delicate peach hue. Constant stream of fine bubbles. Appealing aroma of candied apple, citrus pith and light flinty, limestone nuance. Distinctly fruity white peach and apple entry. Fresh vibrance and crisp crunch of acidity to balance the ripe fruitiness. Rounded, creamy, broad and textured in the mouth. Elegant and statuesque. Its long aftertaste finishes on a light lemon zest note.

About us

Company details

Anthonij Rupert Wyne was founded on the farm, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek. Originally owned by the late Anthonij Rupert, who passed away in 2001, the farm was eventually taken over by his brother Johann Rupert in 2003 and the brand named after him.

It was Johann Rupert who constructed a state-of-the-art winemaking facility, catapulting the farm into a prestigious wine estate and the beginnings of what is now a sprawling enterprise.

The focus is on terroir specific wines and therefore the ranges are made from a number of sites.

Each site offers optimum varietal specific growing conditions, allowing Anthonij Rupert Wyne to adhere to the requirements of their different brands.
