Tasting notes:                         This garnet wine shows purple glints. It offers appealing deep aromas. A fruity nose of raspberry and redcurrant  together with fine oaky hints from its six months ageing in barrels is present in reasonably balance. On the palate, it is beautifully fresh and lively, with a slight acidity, and palatable tannins form the American oak round it out. In the aftertaste there   are hints of liquorice.

Tasting notes:             This dark cherry wine shows purple glints. On the nose, it is complex, with outstanding  ripe black fruit aromas backed by oaky vanilla and toast from its ageing in new oak barrels. Fresh fruit flavours follow the nose to round it out. It is round, complete and powerful on the palate, with good backbone. Oak is present as a spicy note, with hints of compote coming through.

Tasting notes:                         Very dark, intense cherry in colour, clean and clear. On the palate, it is long, with an extraordinary finish and a perfect balance between the tannin of the casks and a notable fruit-bearing load. Tasting notes:                         Ruby in colour, with brick-red glints, very intense, clean and bright. Of great intense, aromatic complexity, it presents hints of ripe fruit proper of the varietal  Tempranillo in perfect balance with lingering oaky, vanilla and toffee aromas  from the toast of the cask. On the palate it’s powerful and long, with a perfect balance between the fruit flavours and the palatable tannins that round it out. These aromas come together in perfect balance, without losing the fruit-bearing bottom of Tempranillo. On the palate, it is well constituted, being robust and vigorous, with a note of freshness and vivacity that complements the noble tannin of the casks and a notable fruit-bearing load to perfection. Bodegas Altos del Marqués belongs to a limited liability company owned by the Cerrolaza family called Corral-Cuadrado S.L. The winery owns 43.5  Has (107.4 acres) of vineyard distributed  among several areas, triangle-shaped, with vertexes in La Grajera (Logroño), Yagüe-El Cortijo and Hornos de Moncalvillo, in one of the highest quality areas of Rioja wine. This quality is due to the goodness of the terrain, antiquity of the vineyard,  division into small plots and a lavish care
in the production phase.
Bodegas Altos del Marqués is a small winery located in Hornos de Mocalvillo(Rioja                                        Alta) origin of the family who owns the winery.With a limited production capacity, several generations of the Cerrolaza family have concentrated their efforts on making a modern high-quality viticulture.  In order to obtain the best possible grapes, they apply the latest technology to remove vigor from the vine-stocks, to de-leaf the vines, to prune specifically according to each area and for every type, and to utilize a double-selection in the vineyard and in the cellar. Ensuring that the quality of the grape is at least 75% the quality of the wine, the Cerrolaza family focuses on their vineyards as the only way of obtaining and guaranteeing great wines. As a result, they obtain wines with identity, expression of their vineyards.
THE NEW WINERY of the family, built in a “chateau” style is placed amongst the vineyards that the family possesses in La Grajera, on the outskirts of Logroño. It is the second winery of the Cerrolaza family, who already has a small one in Hornos de Moncalvillo adjacent to the family house.
