WHITE WINE VIURA 2016

GRAPEVARIETY:  100%  VIURA 

GRAPEPROCEDENCE:  BRIONES, vineyard of 22 years old on average, high density plantation. Bush pruning calcareous
soils. Sustainable cultivation respectful with the environment and following the natural vegetative
cycles of the plant, with organic fertilizer and mechanical work without using herbicides. The
grapes are hand picked and when they arrive into the cellar we proceed to a manual selection of the
bunches.

WINEMAKING:  We softly press the bunches in a vertical press. Static raking of free run must during 48 hours.
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks during 20 days at a temperature of 18 ºC.

PRESENTATION:  Bottles bordeaux tradition, white colour of 750 ml . Synthetic cork of 49 per 24,5 mm, washed and
sterilized without chemical treatments . Label made with recyclable paper printed with ecological
ink.Capof recyclable tin. Corrugated cardboard cases entirely recyclable.

VINTAGE:  It was a moderate and rainy Winter. Harvest with average (second week of April). Sunny and
warm spring with few rains in April and May. Flowering arrivies the second week of June with a
warm and dry weather. The Month of July was remarkably warm and dry, the vines resisted thank
to abundant water reserves from Winter. Veraison took place the first week of august.
August was dry and moderately warm. The first fortnight of september it rained heavily . Luckily
the excellent sanitary condition and the fresh winds from the North, avoid the aparition of the
dreaded Botrytis.September and october are warm and sunny. Extraordinary maturity of the grape
with a perfect sanitary condition. Long vegetative cycle. The Harvest started on 10th october with a
sunny and fresh weather. Exceptional fruty aromas. Excellent balance of the acidity. Very
pronounced tannins with a great quality and elegance.

TASTING NOTE: Yellow straw colour, clean and cristalline. Intense fruity aromas (apple and apricot). In the mouth , it
is soft, fruity and greedy, with a nice and fresh acidity. Great armony.

FERMENTED IN BARREL WHITE WINE 2016

Fermentation innewfrench oak barrels during 25 days at a temperature of 20 ºC

AGEING:  four months in bordelese barrels of French oak with the lees, performing stirring twice a week.

VINTAGE:  Warm and dry end of autumn. Exceptionally cold and rainy winter, which gives water reserves in
depth. Low temperatures last until mid-April, bringing the Sprout by the third week of April. The
end of April and May proceeds with warm and sunny weather, with abundant rainfall. Flowering
arrives in mid-June withwarmand dry weather. July starts with cool weather and some storms. The
rest of July and August, dry weather and mild temperatures and cool nights. Envero in the second
week of August. The vegetation presents an optimal state anticipating a typical dramatic
maturation of the great vintages. September starts warm with frequent storms, intermittent rains
and heat last until the first week of October making the dreaded Botrytis appear. Start fresh with
light rain and very cold nights during October. Perfect maturity with an excellent balance of acidity.
The harvest begins on October 8 with fresh and clear weather. Botrytis bulbs, forcing extreme
caution in vintage and sourcing tables.

TASTINGNOTE:  Yellow golden colour, with greenish shades. Powerful and creamy aromas of exotic fruits
(pineapple and maracuya) with nuances of custard, toasts. In mounth it is oily with volume,
pleasant and creamy. Soft and powerful.

In the nose, flagrant and franc, with aromas of red fruits (strawberry, cherry, raspberry). Fresh,
tasty, fine and balanced. Happy , with good acidity, soft and nice, with fruit-bearing and persistant
finish.

at a 5ºCduring 6 days. Fermentation controlled at 28ºCduring 18 days, with three pumping over a
day. Total maceration with skins of 12 days. Davatting by gravity and vertical press. Malolactic is
done in stainless stell tanks .

which full the mouth.

VARIETY:  100%  TEMPRANILLO

natural cycles of the plant, with organic fertilizers and mechanical work without using herbicides.
Manual harvest and the bunches are selected by hand in the winery.

WINEMAKING:  Whole bunches destalked and not crushed in stainless steel tanks. Cold prefermentary maceration at a
5º C during 6 days. Fermentation controlled at 28º C during 10 days, with three pumping over a day.
Total maceration with skins of 16 days. Davatting by gravity and vertical press. Malolactic is done in
stainless stell tanks .

AGEING:  12 months in Bordelese barrel,50%French oakand50%american oak. Racking every 4 months.

VINTAGE:  Soft and a bit rainy autumn. Soft winter with heavy rain in february and march . Mild and heavy
rainy April. Sprout, late, in the third week of April . Heavy vegetative growth.Fresh and rainy May,
flowering during the third week of June, with a rate of curd lower than other vintages. Fresh and with
a little rain July and August. Veraison in the third week of August, which extends to early September.
The maduration runs properly during the first fortnight of September,and abundant rainfalls during
the rest of the month. October shows fresh nights that allowed us to reach a correct phenolic and
aromatic maturity. The harvest began on October 15th, with soft temperatures and absence of rains,
the fruit was pickedupwith an almost perfect sanitary conditions.

TASTINGNOTE:  Bigarreau cherry and crimson color, brilliant.
Clean and complex, elegant and ripe aromas. Recollectionss of cassis and of scrub. Very tasty, fresh,
with extent and balance. With abundant soft and styled tannins and happy end full of nuances.

Fermentation controlled at 28º C during 10 days, with three pumping over a day. Total maceration with skins of 16 days. Davatting by gravity and vertical press. Malolactic is done in stainless steel tanks .

AGEING:  24 months in Bordelese barrel of Frenc oak. Racking every 4 months.

VINTAGE:  Autumn with mild temperature and rain, February unusually cold. Cold March and mild April. Sprout during the third week of April with cold night though without frost and some rainy days but with little instensity of rainfalls. May began cold and rainy though it ended with milder temperatures. Cold and rainy June. The plant started to accumulate delay in the vegetative cycle.Flowering during the fourth week of June with a correct setting of the fruit. July and August are warm and extremely dry with an excellent vegetative development due to warter reserves accumulated in the winter time.Veraison during the third week of August, with mild days and fresh nights. Fresh September with cold nights.The maturity slow down. October began with cold days and very cold nights, circumstances that are kepts during all the harvest which started on 18th October reaching an exceptional phenolic and aromatic maturity

TASTING NOTE:  Red deep colour , dark crimpson and purple.
Intense fruity aromas ( cherry in liquor, and ripe plums) with recollentions of noble wood (cedar). Very balanced, with a fresh acidity and polished and delicate tannins though intense velvet feeling and with a final lenght of ripe fruits. Beefy in mouth, tasty and lively. Velvety and oily.

fortnight of October. Remarkable antocyanins with a great quality, exceptional fruity aromas
