Vignobles Bouillac is a family owned vineyard in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation spread over 100 hectares with the same commitment as a Grand Cru Classé. We produce more than 600 000 bottles a year and our wines regularly receive French and international awards. Our products are available from vintages 2010 to 2016. We have substantial available volumes despite the frost we underwent this year.
We have two activities. Historically, the first one is the vine nursery; the other one is to make wine.
It's been more than fifty years that we advise, support and supply some prestigious Grands Cru Classés in the Médoc (Château Palmer, Rauzan-Segla, Rauzan-Gassies, Cantermerle, Léoville-Poyferré, etc), in Saint-Emilion (Château Canon), in Sauternes (Château de Myrat) and many more. Thanks to this activity we acquired an expertise in the compatibility between rootstock, graft and soil and control the production from the graft to the bottle. Highlighting the terroir has always been our passion and expertise.
Obvisouly we have the same care and comitment in the development of our vineyard and in the making our wines.
Amongst others, we produce very elegant and unique monovarietal cuvées: Les Mains Sales 100% Petit Verdot and 100% Malbec. You can find an article on it here
Our Château Clos du Loup has also been acknowledged by the press in France (Terre de Vins Cover in March 2016 for 2011 vintage here); Paolo Basso for Sommeliers International wrote: "anthology bottle, worthy of the the best Grands Crus Classés" about our 2010 vintage.
