Considered to be the most elegant and the most representative of Spanish red wine grapes. It gives a small sized grape and very compact bunches of a dark violet , almost black, colour, from which we get our aromatic wines which in their youth reminds one of blackberries.
Wines that come from the Tempranillo grape are capable of long ageing in which the fruit tones acquire elegant hints of red fruit compotes and ink.
Also known as Macabeo, this variety is capable of producing high quality white wines. Its slow must oxidation makes it appropiate for ageing in oak barrel. It has a pale colour and brings a balanced acidity to the wine if harvested early.
From this white grape a yellow-greenish must that soon turns golden is obtained. Wines from this variety have character and flavour, and are yellow-greenish in colour when they are young, they change quickly to golden making them appropiate for ageing.
