Intense ruby red colour, with fruity bouquet and intense fragrances of cherries. Full-bodied and enchanting in the mouth with tastes of mature red fruits, berries, especially plums. Corvina grapes are manually selected during harvest, which normally falls in the beginning of autumn. The selected grapes then undergo a drying process called “appassimento” which consists in placing the grapes in special boxes in a room equipped with ventilators to maintain a constant temperature and humidity. During this process, grapes lose 35% of their weight, but retain and enhance their unique flavors and aromas. When the grapes reach the desired sugar level, they are softly pressed and vinified in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. 50% of the blend is aged in French Tonneaux for 6-8 months; the remaining part rests in the stainless steel tanks.
Food pairing Ideal accompaniment to red meats, game, tasty cuisine, excellent also as a sipping wine. Serving temperature: 16°-18°. It is suggested to decant at least one hour before serving.

This wine is characterized by crystal, straw yellow colour with greenish hints. Its intense bouquet is full of tropical fruits notes, of apricot and vanilla. The taste is balanced, spicy, well structured with a right acidity level. Grapes undergo a cold maceration process for about 8 hours before the crushing in order to obtain a fruity bouquet. The alcoholic fermentation takes place at controlled temperature of 16° for part of the grapes, while the rest brews in oak barriques to obtain balanced and harmonic flavours. Afterwards, the wine refines in the bottle for 3 months at least.
Food pairing Perfect with starters, first courses of fish, vegetables and white meats. Serving temperature: 8°-10°.
This was the first step of the project “Italian Wineries”. Through this project the company, previously dedicated to the bottling of bulk wine, becomes producer first of all with the development of “Brands of the land”, thanks to the collaboration with high-quality small producers located in those regions, historically most vocated for wine production such as South Tyrol, Tuscany, Veneto, Sicily, Piedmont, Apulia and the Abruzzo. Secondly, through the acquisition of the wineries “Bacio della Luna” in Vidor – Valdobbiadene (Treviso) and “Lunadoro” in Valiano di Montepulciano (Siena). An evolutionary path started many years ago, and aiming to strengthen the links with the land and the traditions. These values, along with the strong opportunities offered by the technological progress, allow Schenk Italian Wineries to work in a sustainable way, both within the company and for the environment.
