M de MANGOT

"Definitely a Bordeaux, we can't deny it"
Created in 2009 out of desire to create a wine grower's rosé… The result of work on the vines and a vinification process worthy of a great white!

Not a wine created in the cellar for want of something better, but quite the contrary, a product of work in the vineyard, this wine is the fruit of careful plot selection and growing practices, from pruning through to harvesting.

With a deliberate predominance of Merlot (80%), direct pressing is followed by low-temperature fermentation on the lees, in stainless steel tanks, but also in new 400/500-litre barrels.

A vinification process kept as natural as possible, with oxygen protection, makes it possible to limit the use of sulphites (40 to 60 mg/L total SO2).

A rosé full of freshness, elegance and purity, which is reflected in its packaging: it comes in 6 different bottles with a glass stopper  – the very height of aesthetic sophistication!

Le MARMOT de La Brande

"Sulphur-free, fruit in all its glory… "
This wine, which goes on sale 6 months after the harvest, has a youthful fire that is freely expressed...

The Marmot is the fruit of our Castillon terroir, where we also grow its elder sister, Château La Brande.

The 2016 vintage is made from grapes from 2 plots,Merlot (60%) and Cabernet Franc (40%), harvested on 4 and 15 October respectively.

Natural vinification: alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, native yeast, NO oenological additives…

Malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks, racking and bottling done in February 2017.

Pure pleasure in a bottle…
Produced in limited quantities, ready to drink…

Château LA BRANDE

Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux
Expressive and succulent all at once, this wine stands out for its generous fruitiness…

A product of the Castillon hills, this cru is proudly representative of its Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, with its blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Since the 2014 vintage, a small percentage of Petit Verdot has gradually been making an appearance in the blend.

With the same care taken with the vines and sorting of the grapes, Château La Brande is vinified (at Mangot) in temperature-regulated stainless steel tanks.
A long, gentle vinification process extracts all the tannic richness, thanks to pumping over and rack and return over 25 to 30 days, before running off and pressing.
Malolactic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks to preserve all the fruit and freshness of this cru.
For the 12-month maturing period, the wine is deliberately divided into 3 batches: 1/3 in concrete tanks, 1/3 in 400-litre barrels and 1/3 in 225-litre barrels, mainly in 1, 2 and 3-year old barrels.

We do everything we can to accompany the fine raw materials we have from the La Brande terroirs, respecting the fruit, to produce a wine that is fruity, crisp and intense…
