CAVA BERTHA LOUNGE ROSÉ

The people who choose Bertha’s range Lounge will have a chance to taste a young wine that needs between 12 and 15 months of maturation. It is this youthfulness that provides its most appreciated values: it is fresh, fruity, aromatic and with prevailing primary aromas of the grape itself.

The Lounge Rosé has a very pale colour, copper white, the onion’s peel colour. Its scent is very elegant. It reminds us of flavours of citrus fruits, red fruits, roses and pastries. It offers a taste of a very subtle and well-integrated carbon dioxide and a light, fresh and large flavour. It’s ideal to be served with aperitifs, desserts with fruits and confectionery, cheese, cold meat and rice dishes. This cava is ideal at any moment of the day.
We don’t add sulphur taste during the disgorging process.

CAVA BERTHA BRUT NATURE RESERVA

Without a doubt, the Brut Nature Reserva is the most emblematic cava in our collection because it represents 45% of our sells. The word reserva means that the cava needs to mature 15 months, at least. This cava is produced with macabeo, xarel·lo and parellada. I

It’s ideal to be served with aperitifs, starters, fish and white meat.
Its scent reminds us of fruit, confectionary, flowers and vegetables. It offers a taste of yeast, fresh fruit, creaminess and, above all, a very subtle and well-integrated carbon dioxide.
We don’t add sulphur taste during the disgorging process.

About us

Company details

To all those who already know us, I would like to thank you for trusting our brand for 25 years. To all those who don’t know us yet, welcome to Bertha.

From 1989 we have been producing what is for us the best wine in the world: THE CAVA. You won’t find anywhere else a sparkling wine with a so marked personality, due to the landscape, the land, the climate and, above all, because of its local grape varietals. The blend of these grape varietals provides the cava a unique personality.

The Montserrat mountain range gives shelter to the Penedès region, which is located rather close to the sea. Its a special place where base wines are produced because of its extraordinay situation. The landscape is an spectacle in any period of the year.

Our little work of art, the cava Bertha, is born in this setting.

ORIGIN
 Until recently, Cava Bertha was located in the central area of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, where we have worked, during the first phase, from 1989 to 2014.

In this old cellar we have developed our activity dealing with two big disadvantages: we have had to work in small spaces and in the central area of the town, with all the problems that these circumstances cause; but here our brand has grown and we have spent 25 years of our life doing what we love most.

In this town we have carried out our projects. Here we have learnt a way of doing things so we want to thank Sant Sadurní d’Anoia for the oportunity that gave us at that moment.
