About us

Company details

Normandin-Mercier, one of the finest House of Cognac, offers blended eau-de-vie from the finest crus of Cognac appellation. This House is a family story and it remains through a multigenerational work from 1872 to nowadays. Back to five generations before, Jules Normandin bought the estate of la Péraudière at the gates of La Rochelle, because Cognac trade was expending and La Rochelle harbour was stimulating international trade. Moreover, the climate in La Rochelle is very well adapted for ageing Cognac because of the proximity of the ocean.

Edouard Normandin, the master blender and director, is perpetuating the savoir-faire of their ancestors. The sense of family and the importance of the handmade expertise make their Cognac a coveted elixir for connoisseurs. Specialized in old cognacs, the House offers a large range of products from VSOP to an Extra Old blend of centenarian eau-de-vie, by way of vintages, sumptuous carafes and Pineaux des Charentes.  Certainly a modest house, but exporting seventy percent of their production over twenty countries. Their elegant elixir of life will seduce you for sure.
