Since acquiring Château Argadens, the Sichel family has put in place a vast renovation program, with the aim of making the wine a benchmark within the Bordeaux category. After 12 months in oak barrels, Argadens red is thoroughly modern Bordeaux with lots of concentrated fruit and an attractive, supple balance. Not surprisingly, it gets consistently high marks in tastings and competitions. Château Argadens also makes a white wine.
To ensure that its wine gets noticed in an appellation which produces large quantities of heterogeneous wines, Maison Sichels policy is to produce top quality – the result is a fine white wine which is balanced, fresh and fruity, with floral aromas. Efforts to bring out the very best of an outstanding terroir have yielded a wine of greater complexity and depth than ever before. Unlike the red, the white wine is produced in only low quantities.
High in the hills of the Corbières, in a stunning corner of south west France, Château Trillol has been the Sichel family property since 1990. At 400m above sea level, the vineyard is located in two of the Corbières terroirs: Termenès and Quéribus. Here the local grape varieties, Grenache, Syrah and Carignan (harvested by hand), result in an authentic wine that is packed with character and a strong sense of place.
The grapes are carefully selected before being fermented and aged in oak in exactly the same way as the Grands Crus Classés of Graves and Pessac-Léognan. Sirius Red is situated at the high end of the Bordeaux category and the emphasis is on balance, finesse and the mutually complementary aromas of the three Bordeaux grape varieties, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. A discreet, pared-down label for a modern chic, wine, equally ideal for trendy bistros or gourmet restaurants.

Sirius White is situated at the high end of the Bordeaux category; Sémillon is the principal grape variety, bringing the lushness of tropical fruit to the more tangy Sauvignon. Owned by the Sichel family since1961, Angludet is situated at the heart of the prestigious appellation of Margaux and surrounded by Cru Classé properties. It is the responsibility of Benjamin Sichel, whose constant quest for quality is reflected in his policy of drastically limiting the yield of each vine plant and finding the natural balance of the entire vineyard, in order to get the best expression of this exceptional terroir in every glass. Angludet's wines enjoy a worldwide reputation for their elegance, aromatic finesse and their exceptional ageing potential.
