BAROLO RISERVA DOCG STEFANO FARINA

This superb Barolo Riserva Stefano Farina is the result of an immense love for nature and a careful tilling of the land. The vineyards are located in the south western part of Piedmont, at La Morra d'Alba in the ancient county of "Langhe". During the harvest which takes place towards the end of October, only the best grapes are selected through a meticulous process of hand-picking. This wine comes in limited quantities, and undergoes ageing for a period of five years, of which three years in oak casks of Slavonic origin; its colour is typically ruby red with nuances of garnet and orange reflections. Intense fruity bouquet mixed with spices and liquorice, velvety flavour and smooth taste. All of the above truly makes this Barolo a first class wine.

 Vine variety:
100% Nebbiolo of the variety Lampia, Michet, and Rose. Perfect to be grown in the area of Le Langhe in the province of Cuneo and suitable to obtain Barolo.

 Evolution:
total of five years of which at least three years in oak casks of Slavonic origin and finally in bottles.

Best served with:
Braised meats, cheese with blue-green marbling, red meats and game.

BARBERA D'ALBA DOC STEFANO FARINA

This wine is produced on the slopes surrounding Alba and leading down to the river Tanaro in the region of Piedmont. Barbera may be appreciated both young and slightly aged. As it is, both wines are controlled at origin of denomination. The colour is an intense ruby red with a vinous aroma, very delicate and with somewhat of a bitter taste. When slightly aged the wine acquires a mature and well balanced taste.

Vine variety:
100% Barbera grown within the province of Cuneo.

Best served with:
red and white meats, braised meats, tartare, boiled meat, feathered game.

The manor owned by Stefano Farina in La Morra d'Alba lies on hills well exposed to the warm afternoon sunshine, the most suitable for grape ripening. This wine is aged for several years in oak casks of Slavonic origin and has a garnet red or ruby colour, with a violet aroma and a velvety, soft taste. The Barolo Stefano Farina has a noble tradition and is considered the "king of wines” amongst Italian wines.

BARBARESCO DOCG

Known as the little brother of the great Barolo due to its lower content in alcohol and for the more gentle and velvety features. Barbaresco takes its name after the small village near the town of Alba, on the river Tanaro, where this wine is made. This classic high standard Italian wine has a limited production and is ideally served with roast meats and game dishes. The wine is aged for several years in oak casks of Slavonic origin, and has a garnet red colour with a shade of orange. An aroma of violets together with a generous and pleasing taste make of this wine a unique experience. DOLCETTO DI DIANO D'ALBA DOCG

Dolcetto is the most widespread wine in the area surrounding Alba; the grapes produced from this area are so sweet that they can even be consumed and appreciated at the table. Every hill around Alba gives birth to a Dolcetto with various characteristics. This particular type of Dolcetto has a ruby colour, a firm and pleasantly fruity aroma; the taste is dry, full-bodied and well balanced.

Vine variety:
100% grown in town of Diano d'Alba in the Province of Cuneo.

Best served with:
tartare, red meats, pasta. Perfect to be served with all courses.

LANGHE ROSSO DOC "LE BRUME"

This is a rather sophisticated wine, obtained through a wine making process of well matured grapes. Aged in French barriques (oak casks) it acquires a touch of elegance, and it is left to rest for long periods in the bottle before being placed on the market. Wine of great complexity with notes of large and small red fruits (from cherry to currant), black fruits (blueberry and other berries). Spicy flavours due to its passage in wood. Great softness and volume at taste, pleasant tannic with a very light hints of bitter at the end (pleasant and characteristic).

Vine variety:
40% Barbera - 60% Nebbiolo

Evolution/Aging:
after last pouring, minimum 6 months in French oak barriques and 2 months in bottle before selling

Best served with:
red meats, game and strong cheeses

This superb wine is the typical Barbera which however undergoes a lengthy ageing in French oak casks (Allier and Vosges) and reflects the tradition of the aristocratic Piedmont wines. It is a strong, generous and full bodied wine.

MOSCATO D'ASTI DOCG

This is amongst the oldest vineyards in Piedmont, and was well known also by ancient Romans. It's the typical noble vineyards, very sensitive to climate. A careful and wise dosage of all elements is essential during the process of ageing however short. A sweet flavour and scented bouquet make this bubbly wine a fresh and easy alternative to heavier wines.

Evolution/Aging:
In cement vats for about 10 months (approximately one month for the fermentation process and then aging in wood for a further 9 months); 18 months in wood (a portion in Slavonian oak, a portion in 1st and 2nd filing barriques). Bottle aging for at least six months before being released on the market..
The timing of each operation is indicative, the winemaker decides on them by tasting the wine as it evolves

CHIANTI CLASSICO RISERVA DOCG "LE BOCCE"

"Chianti Classico Riserva" designates the Chianti wine aged for at least 3 years following harvest. The Stefano Farina vineyard clearly respects this rule by using a severe selection process, whereby only the wine believed to be of superior quality can be elected to a "Riserva". This is why the number of bottles produced is very flexible depending on the harvested yield.  During the long ageing, the taste and flavour acquire structure and nuances typical of a top class wine.

6 months in cement vats, 16 months in the oak (part in oak casks of Slavonic origin, part in barriques of second and third passage).  Aging in bottle for 6 months before selling

CHIANTI CLASSICO DOCG "LE BOCCE"

This wine is produced in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, in a village called Panzano 5 Km from the town of Greve. The Black Rooster quality trademark is the best guarantee for this unique Chianti Classico "Le Bocce". This wine is rich in bouquet, fruity with a touch of violet, blackberry and iris at maturity, with a distinctive vanilla aroma, a direct result of ageing in oak casks. The taste is dry and robust at first, becoming progressively gentler as years go by, still maintaining a well balanced and generous character.

95% Sangiovese, 5% Cannaiolo.

the wine is kept in vats for 4 months, in oak casks for 6 months and in bottles for 3 months before distribution

ROSSO TOSCANO IGT "SOLERS" LE BOCCE

This Tuscan wine has been given a name originating from the Latin word meaning "ingenious" and dedicated to the great genius of Leonardo da Vinci. In fact this is a sophisticated modern wine, fresh in taste so as to be more suitable  to the new taste of the consumer, while keeping  typical features of a red Tuscan wine. Solers - Rosso Toscano wants to blend modernity with innovation, just as Leonardo da Vinci was in the Renaissance. Excellent balance, soft but decisive taste, consistent bouquet with primary aroma of red fruits (cherries and black cherries) with a touch of vanilla flavour. The intense ruby red colour with blue tints is a sign of good longevity.  This is the ideal wine to serve with all dishes, perfect if served also between courses.

This superb red wine is obtained from the Sangiovese grapes grown by "Fattoria Le Bocce". The vineyards are located in the ancient domain of "Vigna del Paladino" in Panzano, in the heart of the production area of  the Chianti Classico. The wine is refined and carefully prepared, first in barriques and finally in bottles.

CHIANTI DOCG "LA GINESTRA"

This is a Chianti of controlled and guaranteed denomination. The wine making process is respectful of the old traditional Tuscan metods. Two types of grapes make up this wine, namely: Sangiovese and Canaiolo. Chianti "La Ginestra" is a brillant ruby red wine which turns to a garnet colour as it ages. Its dry and aromatic taste becomes soft and velvety with a light violet aroma with ageing.

The sun-drenched country, white sandy shores, century old olives: this is Salento. From the vineyards of Negroamaro, the grapes are treated with care and hard work by the farmers to obtain this wine that is a concentration of flavour and fragrance; the vine have the typical blackberry-type shape of incertains origin. They are widespread in Puglia, particularly in the provinces of Brindisi, Taranto and Lecce.
