Small Summery of Regions History
The winemaking culture in Georgia was developing and evolving for 8,000 years. World’s many scientists claim that vine cultivation originated in South Caucasus, particularly in Georgia.
Historically, Kakheti region is the center of Georgian winemaking, while Tsinandali, where Besini has its vineyards, has unique characteristics and microclimate. This is why Tsinandali is considered to be the center of country’s winemaking. Unique geographical location, relief distinctness, the sunshine and soil fertility of the region create favorable conditions for the grape to produce the best quality wines.Since 2004, Besini was and still is the leader company in producing high-quality wine and best vines in Georgia.
