This elegant yet dramatic wine is from the exceptional Karmrahyut grape, with an eight percent estate blend of Areni, Kakhet, and Meghrabuyr. The achievement is a wine with intense aromas of mature red fruit, rose petals and spices, and pure energy on the palate. Full-bodied with acidic balance and firm tannins, the wine finishes with notes of honey, laurel and vanilla. A mélange in wild harmony.

Best paired with aged cheeses, lamb, spicy meat stews, and soups made with cured pork.

"There is a special reason why I left this red wine for the last. It is full of tannins and well structured, and if we’d put before others, we would not try the other ones, it would be uninteresting for us... The structure and the power of this wine is very recognizable and you will get pure pleasure while trying it. Among the line of the wines we tried, this wine, of course, stands separately, and the taste of the tannins, it remains very seriously."
Artur Sarkisian
Head of the Union of Sommeliers & Experts of Russia

An estate blend of Kangun and Rkatsiteli, this fresh wine is a lovely balance of aroma and tang that evoke the savor of the nationally renowned apricots, green apples, white flowers, and wild herbs. The finish is lasting and persistent, with rich flavors much like the culture itself.

Best served chilled either as an aperitif, with fresh cheeses, vegetable, fish, and white meat dishes.

"My personal favorite! An excellent wine, from a distinct blend of varieties that are specific to, and represent the country's landscape and climatic range. The wine speaks of its terrior."

The Areni vine is the emblem of a terrain suited to the viticulture that gives this wine its innate ability to surprise you with its noble character. Winemaker Emilio del Medico meticulously selected these grapes from the best vineyards in the Yeghegnadzor region, and at the ArmAs cellar nurtured their fruition into this exceptional wine. The aroma is reminiscent of its terroir, heightened as it rested briefly in Karabakh oak. On the palate the wine shows elegance and balanced tannic structure with notes of cherry, strawberry, and wild blackberries, with violets, wisteria and sweet vanilla all in seductive harmony.

Best served with aged cheese, white meats, and hearty, meat-based soups and sauces, as well as, pastas with mushrooms and grilled meats. After two to three years of bottle aging, this wine will excel when paired with noble game birds and poultry.

Welcome to ArmAs Estate
Aragatsotn Province, Armenia

ArmAs is revitalizing Armenia’s winemaking legacy by creating elegant wines that stem from one of our country’s best natural resources, the idyllic terroir of the vine.
It is no coincidence that Armenia, known as the birthplace of the vine, is also the site
of the oldest known winemaking ruins, dating back to 6,100 years.

Winemaker Emilio Del Medico has paid homage to this heritage by creating award
winning, elegant and distinct wines from estate grown native varieties.

ArmAs Estate is a picturesque display of agricultural achievement, set against the backdrop of the inspiring Mount Ararat. The 180 hectares of previously desolate and disconnected rock-strewn countryside was diligently transformed into a stunning panorama including vineyards, orchards, and a world-class winery. The endeavor proudly involved and united hundreds of people from various villages, countries, and backgrounds who continue to teach and learn from one another. The continued realization of the ArmAs Estate is illustrative of progress through guidance and cooperation, and represents the assimilation of tradition with development. Indeed, the ensuing ArmAs wines convey these improvements, and speak especially of the abundant sunshine, volcanic soil, undulating terrain and magnanimous earth of a resilient culture.
