Ginestet Bio Red Bordeaux

A wine is called « organic » when the grapes from which it is made come from organic farming.
As all organic farmers, growers who adopt these methods undertake to cultivate their land without any chemical fertilisers, weed-killers or other synthetic crop protection products, and they are subject to regular and stringent inspections. Good practices are becoming increasingly widespread, resulting in a twofold reduction in the quantities of sulphur, the absence of additives and preservatives.

TYPE OF SOIL : chalky-clay

GRAPE VARIETIES : 80% merlot, 20% cabernet sauvignon

TASTING NOTES : this charming wine is notable for a garnet-red robe of great intensity. It develops a powerful, spicy nose finishing with grades of crushed fresh fruits. The mouth-feel entices due by its richness, fullness as well as by the aromatic final on the palate.

This enjoyable wine can be tasted with a piece of beef or a leg of lamb.
Best appreciated between 15-16°C.

Villa Burdigala Bordeaux Rouge

TYPE OF SOIL : clay-limestone hillsides

VARIETALS : 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc

TASTING NOTES : This Bordeaux boasts a garnet-red colour with good intensity and purplish tints. The highly elegant bouquet rolls out red fruit scents, such as redcurrant and raspberry. The purity of the fruit in the bouquet announces a lovely full sensation on the palate. The attack is clean, delicate and well rounded.

In mid-palate, powerful yet silky tannins are revealed and we find the same sensations as on the nose. Served at a temperature of 16° to 18°C, it goes beautifully with red meat or stronger-tasting cheeses.
