Utterly seductive, brilliant golden colour, shimmering with fine, regular bubbles. The nose is an elegant combination of fruity, floral and mineral notes. Aromas of citrus, peaches, pears, ripe wheat and white flowers develop against a background of mineral notes, layering with hints of chalkiness and brioche.
The palate shows a freshness tempered by just sufficient vinosity for a creamy, supple attack, giving way to delicate flavours of lusciously ripe fruit – aromas of Mirabelle plums and citrus, perfectly blended in a tasty, persistent mouthfeel.

Blanc de Noirs

Clad in an intensely deep golden robe, this wine immediately expresses the aromas of Pinot Noir and the unique terroir of Mailly Champagne. A nose of fresh spice seasoned with a pinch of violet and the heady fragrance of loam and bracken combine tenderly the subtle, sweetish taste of yellow fruits, especially vine peaches. The very delicate silk touch in the mouth, pleases our palate in the same way as home-made chantilly cream.

History of the vineyard

The village of Mailly is said to derive its name from the Latin Malliusacum.

Grapes have been grown in Mailly for centuries, since before the building of Reims Cathedral in the 13th Century.

Mailly wines were much appreciated by the church and nobility and graced all of the finest tables from the Middle Ages onward.

Mailly winegrowers have witnessed the landmark events that shaped French History, contributing to the rising fortunes of Champagne in the 17th Century.
