Château Quilex

The name "Château Quilex" comes from the Latin Quercus Ilex, green oak, which is emblematic of the south-eastern corner of France.
The Château Quilex estate, surrounded by these green oaks, covers 14 hectares, of which 8 fall under the new Côtes-du-Rhône Villages designation and are assigned to the commune of Gadagne. Annual production is in the region of 300 hectolitres (+/-35,000 bottles).
The estate is currently owned by François Berud, and was specially selected for its homogeneity. The vineyards, situated on a plateau, constitute the region's most exposed cultivated surface.

La Grange des Filles

“La Grange des Filles” enjoy this very feminine rosé wine ...
Anaïs, Anouk, Charlotte, Clara, Clémence and Mathilde: these six wonderful girls, the girls in our lives, were the personalities that inspired us, the wine lovers that we are, to create this rosé.
We have put all our know-how into creating this wine, giving it the most beautiful concentration of elegance, lightness, finesse and character that these girls embody. We have thus used all our expertise and passion in creating "La Grange des Filles," a wine that we wanted to be original, and for which each bottle symbolizes the diversity of flavors and complexity of this wine. We, the five founders of this project - cellar master, winemaker, ambassador of wines, sommelier and oenologist - are pleased to be able to share with you today the beautiful story of this rosé wine which is so feminine and so unique ...We therefore invite you into the barn…
Enjoy the wine!

Réserve des Armoiries Vieilles Vignes

It was in 1991 that the first cuvee, then named "Old Vines", was born.
The first selection involved over 60 ha of vineyards. Over the years, a more drastic selection of the plots took place and was reduced to 30 ha. Low yields and healthy vines are the elements that now guide our choices to get both concentrated and silky wine.

About us

Company details

Demazet Vignobles is the result of the union between the Terres d’Avignon cellars in Morières-Lès-Avignon and the Canteperdrix cellars in Mazan, combining the best features of both houses, key players in the area between the Rhône valley and the Mont Ventoux. The “mazet” is a Provençal term for a small house, characteristic of our region; the “Demazet” name reflects the marriage of the two houses, or “deux mazets”.

The two cellars joined together to become “Demazet Vignobles” on 1st July 2015, reflecting our shared values and deep-rooted commitment to quality.

– 245 growers
– 1,400 hectares of vineyards
