Flaró il Rosa dei Vespa

On the evening of 12 September 2015 the Italian court has experienced one of the best moments of its history . The most prestigious tournament, the US Open in New York, Flavia Pennetta defeated Roberta Vinci. Two Italian world leaders. Thus was born the Flarò, combining the names of two great champions, the one born in Brindisi, the other one in Taranto. Our vineyards are midway between the two cities, and it seemed right to dedicate to Flavia and Roberta our first still rose, the result of an intriguing and original crossover between Negramaro and Aleatico.

Il Bianco dei Vespa

Il Bianco dei Vespa had its first harvest in 2014. Faithful to the grape varieties of Puglia, we chose a Fiano. But there is Fiano and Fiano. So we asked our winemaker to design a Fiano “Cotarella”. The result: after the presentation at the ProWein 2015 in Dusseldorf, the Italian and international success of this wine did not stop, replicating after the excellent harvest 2015.

Vespa Vignaioli per Passion is the name by which the company Futura 14 was presented to the Italian and international markets since 2014. Bruno Vespa is a television journalist in love with the wine world since the 70s, when the great Luigi Veronelli teated him to love also the men and the women who were part of this world. From decades Vespa tells the story in his articles and one day decided to become winemaker associating his sons Alessandro and Federico to the company. The Vespa family owns the beautiful Masseria Li Reni located in Manduria, in Puglia, and has over 25 hectares of land for which a large part already under vine and a part in the process of the first plant.
