Domenico Clerico

In 1976 Domenico Clerico took over the family business with his wife Giuliana and decided to change from conferring grapes to the cooperative to wine producer, purchasing in 1977 a small plot in the heart of “Bussia”, from which he produced the first Barolo Bricotto Bussia. During the years he was able to expand the property with a vineyard in the excellent cru “Ginestra” whose grapes are used to produce Barolo such as Ciabot Mentin and Pajana and in the “Mosconi” area, where the grapes for Barolo Percristina come from.

The winery currently consists of 21 hectares of vineyards for a production of 110,000 bottles per year. Apart from the four crus of Barolo (Ciabot Mentin, Pajana, Percristina, Bricotto) following wines are produced too:
Visadì Langhe Dolcetto, Barbera d’Alba Trevigne, Langhe Nebbiolo Capisme-e and Langhe Rosso Arte.

Recently a new Barolo with a funny name Aeroplanservaj was added. It is produced with grapes from the vineyards in Serralunga.

Tenute Orestiadi

In the western part of Sicily extend the vineyards of Tenute Orestiadi , born in Gibellina from the synergy between a group of wine growers gathered in a cooperative and Orestiadi Foundation, one of the most important cultural institutions in the Mediterranean, with the aim of promoting Sicilian territorial identities  and native varieties through art and wine combination.

Orestiadi has kept an ancient name that evokes myths and ancient legends, it is in these lands they found life thanks to Aeschylus, who wrote twenty or more centuries ago and brought on stage the myth of Orestes and ORESTIADI.

Modern wine processing and storage technologies combined with tradition and respect for the environment allows the winery to guarantee the quality of its products while preserving the territorial identity and uniqueness of the wines of Sicily. For several years the company is committed to a project in organic viticulture regime. The quality of the project and of its products is evidenced by the various awards received, both nationally and internationally, over the years.

Matteo Braidot

In 1870 Giuseppe Braidot founded the winery in Via Gorizia in Versa di Romans d’Isonzo, and since then the family Braidot dedicated itself to agriculture with determination and dedication.
Today, the company is guided (for the third generation) by Matteo Braidot and has a territorial extension of 180 hectares of which over 100 are vineyards, in the DOC Collio, Isonzo and Grave del Friuli. The main vineyards are located in San Floriano in Collio and Romans d’Isonzo.

In Viscone, the eastern edge of the Friuli Grave DOC area with a soil made of gravel mixed with clay, there is Tenuta Viscone, considered a cru highly suitable especially for white wines.

The vinification, the refining and bottling are located in Versa di Romans d’Isonzo.
Matteo Braidot together with the winemaker Mauro Bressan take care accurately of all phases of the production from vineyard to bottling.

The main varieties cultivated are white (90%): Friulano, Ribolla, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Traminer. The main red varieties are: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Refosco
