Sutto Pinot Grigio

Venetian Pinot Grigio has always seduced both Italians and foreigners who, arrived in our land, fall in the pleasant compromise of a dry but far from demanding wine, whose lightness and elegance inspire to drink.

Colour: light straw yellow.
Nose: a clean and pristine fragrance reminds of hazelnut, floral in the notes of camomile and wisteria, slightly aromatic in the hints of wild herbs.
Taste: a lively minerality combined to a balanced and full body reaffirm the timeless class of this wine.
Method of production: vinified in white: the first cold maceration is followed by a soft pressing and settling of the must. After a controlled temperature fermentation, the wine is kept on its yeasts with recurring lees stirring until bottling.
Food matching: white meat, fish soups and grilled seafood find a wonderful match with Sutto Pinot Grigio, born to be a balanced, dry wine with great personality.
Harvest: beginning of September from a vineyard that has reached an excellent production maturity.
Alcohol: 13%.
Bottle size: 0,75 l.
How to serve: serve at 8°-10°C.

Prosecco DOC Brut

The territory where our Prosecco DOC comes from stretches along the hill belt of Treviso province, the area with the Controlled Designation of Origin, and covers a range of terroirs which go from the Padan Plain to the renowned Venetian hills. Here a fragile yet generous grapevine finds its origin: the Glera. Taken care after only by hand, delicately, due to the steep nature of the slopes where it lives, that are extremely challenging. This variety of grape turned into wine takes the name of Prosecco, one of the best-selling wines in the world. Delicate aromas and graceful tastes arise from the perfect symbiosis between a mild microclimate, with a wide temperature variation, and an extremely ancient terrain, rich with limestone and clay, originated from the rising of the sea bottom.

Colour: bright straw yellow.
Nose: rich in its peculiar perfumes with citrus and floral notes, combined to a pleasant hint of bread crust.
Taste: a lively and wonderful energy goes along the freshness and full-body of this dry and well-rounded wine, with a medium-long finish of fruity notes.
Method of production: Charmat-Martinotti method.
Food matching: recommended with vegetables or fish starters, seafood and baked fish or, as it is common in the area of production, with any course.
Harvest: harvested by hand in the second half of September.
Alcohol: 11%.
Bottle size: 0,75 l - 3,0 l - 6,0 l.
How to serve: serve at 4°-6°C, preferably in an ice bucket.

Ribolla DOC Collio

Ribolla gialla is a native grapevine of the Collio area that probably originates from the “Robola” grape from the Greek Island of Cephalonia, brought by Venetian merchants to the gentle hills of Friuli, where nowadays it stands as an unquestionably classy protagonist.

Colour: straw yellow with opalescent hues.
Nose: it emanates a floral aroma that reminds of acacia flowers and honey; it’s characterized by hints of ripe yellow fruit, green apple and pear.
Taste: endowed with a graceful minerality, Ribolla comes forward dry and fragrant, versatile and nicely persistent.

Method of production: after the destemming, a soft pressing and a controlled temperature fermentation follow. It evolves in stainless steel tanks on its natural yeasts.
Food matching: excellent as aperitif, it’s absolutely perfect with starters, fish and saucy sidedishes.
Harvest: harvested by hand on the last ten days of September.
Alcohol: 13%.
Bottle size: 0,75 l.
How to serve: serve at 8°-10°C.

Since 1933 Sutto Family has been carrying on an important wine-growing tradition with love and dedication.          

Three generations that have been able to grow the family-run business by cultivating the vineyards in Campo di Pietra, the land of the Piave wines between Treviso and Venice, and by selecting new lands in the area of Valdobbiadene, home of Prosecco, and in the Collio area, land of excellent Friulian wines.

Today Giuseppe's grandsons, Ferruccio's sons, continue the activity of research and renewal of the family enological culture, by valuing a rich territory that deserves to be known and tasted. Always under the banner of quality.
