Vinification: Harvest at the beginning of October. Soft stalk-stripping and crushing. Brief maceration on skins (about 6 hours). Fermentation without skins for 15 days at 12°C in order to obtain ideal colour and taste.
Sensory Features: bright cherry pink. Intense and persistent, delicate fragrance, very fruity with notes of small red fruits (strawberry). Medium body, intense, well-balanced, soft and round, very long in the mouth. Drink young.
Best served with: it matches perfectly with fish, first light courses and white meat. Excellent in between meals.
Serving Temperature: 14-16°C
Alcoholic Content: 12,50%

Giro Sangiovese - Merlot Puglia IGP

Varieties: Sangiovese, Merlot.

Production Area: Canosa di Puglia
Vinification: The Sangiovese grapes are harvested when they are perfectly ripe, whereas the Merlot are harvested a little bit after their ripening. Fermentation on skins for about 15 days, with pumping overs every 4 hours, draining off, fining: 4-7 months in new barriques (30% French and 70% American).
Sensory Features: Ruby red colour, intense and complex aroma, ripe fruit, chocolate and jam, with spicy notes from wood. Quite tannic and well balanced. Ready to drink, but its structure allows the wine to be aged for 4/5 years.
Best served with: Easy drinking wine, good with salami, savory first courses, excellent with meats and cheeses.
Serving Temperature: 16-18°C

Vinification: The grapes are pressed lightly to avoid green tannins. Maceration at controlled temperature, kept on skin for 10 to 12 days. Reassembled every 4 hours. Stainless steel fermentation.
Sensory Features: Red intense ruby. Fresh and soft tannins. Acidity in well balanced. A great fruit aroma that is characteristic of Nero d’Avola.
Best served with: It matches with first courses, barbecued and roast meat, game birds and seasoned cheese.

Vinification: Hand-harvest in small baskets; soft pressing, quick fermentation. The soft pressing and the quick vinification allow to obtain intense and typical perfumes. The wine maintains these excellent aromatic characteristics in the bottle, due to the small number of filtrations. Ageing in stainless steel tanks and bottle.
Sensory Features: Brilliant golden yellow. Fruity bouquet with notes of pear, peach, mango and just enough of that exotic touch of the Muscat grape. Harmonious taste, sweet, full, fresh, intense and persistent, typical of the freshly picked grapes. Light effervescent.
Best served with: Easy to drink, good on its own, with fruit, poached fish or an elegant dessert.
Serving Temperature: 10-12 °C.

Il Passo Nerello Mascalese - Nero d'Avola Terre Siciliane IGT

Varieties: Nerello Mascalese di Sicilia, Nero d'Avola
Vintage: 2015
Color: Red

Production Area: Sambuca di Sicilia.
Vinification: Low yield per hectare (70 Qli/Ha). The shoots of Nerello grapes are cut so as to allow a natural withering of the grapes which increase the amount of sugar, thanks to the Sicilian hot sun and to the wind that comes from Africa. After about 15-20 days, the grapes have lost about 15-20% of their weight and are then pressed. Fermentation on skins. After a long maceration, the wine is then put into barriques made of French and American oak and is left for about 6 months.
Sensory Features: Bright ruby red, vivid, full and intense. Intense aroma of red fruits, spices and red flowers. Warm, full, soft and well-balanced, with aftertaste of red fruits during the ending.
Best served with: Pasta with rich sauces, meat and seasoned cheeses.
Serving Temperature: 18 °C
Alcoholic Content: 13,50%
Idea of the Wine: Wine made for young drinkers, with enough experience and who are searching for wines of good quality and good price.
