Product category: Beaujolais

Beaujolais Sélection Georges Duboeuf

History and terroir:
The rightly famous drink known as Beaujolais is the foremost wine in the region of the same name between Saint Amour to the north and the outskirts of Lyon to the south. Deliciously fruity, clean-tasting and hearty, Beaujolais is the wine of friendship. It is inimitable as the Gamay grape only reveals it full charm within the Beaujolais production area.

Tasting:
A cherry red colour with purplish tints. Very aromatic red berry nose (strawberries and ripe cherries). A lovely fresh, fruity wine.
Ready to drink but may be laid down for 1 to 2 years. We recommend to taste this wine at 14-16 °C.

On a 60-hectare estate in a single block, the Château de Javernand vineyards cover 20 hectares.
The Château de Javernand house sits comfortably in its floral grounds, overlooking the family estate bought by the FOURNEAU family in 1917. Today, Arthur FOURNEAU and Pierre PROST are in charge of the Estate, representing the fifth generation to oversee the production of Château de Javernand Chiroubles.

Tasting :
A lively, brilliant colour, with red berry, liquorice and violet aromas. Its finesse and balance are revealed on the palate. We recommend to taste this wine at 13-15°C.

Georges Duboeuf Brouilly Prestige

History and terroir :
We have created this blend by first going to the village of Odenas for the structure, exploring the hillsides of Saint Lager for finesse and elegance, then down towards Cercié to give this blend its fruity notes. The final touch was found in Quincié for the more lively, fruity and floral aromas that make up the final bouquet of this delicious gourmet wine.

Tasting :
A beautiful, dark garnet blend, a nose of red berries with scents of blackcurrant, raspberry, and notes of violet, peony and spices. Its rich substance is the result of meticulous blending, which gives this heady wine good keeping potential. We recommend to taste this wine at 12-13 °C.

About us

Company details

With heart, determination, and boldness, we share our passion.

The land
Beaujolais. Doesn’t the word alone have a magical sound to it? Beaujolais is a wine to be celebrated. Built in our family’s image, we have worked throughout the years to make Beaujolais an essential addition to every table. This wine is as popular as it is festive, friendly and joyful.

Our roots
The story begins over 4 centuries ago, when the Duboeuf family was producing wine in the Mâconnais region. Georges was very young when his uncle and brother passed down both their passion for wine and their secrets of production. At just 18 years old, he preferred to take care of the family business with his brother rather than pursuing his studies.
