Salena estate is situated in the heart of the Riverland wine region outside of the town of Loxton some 200km north of South Australia’s capital city Adelaide. Riverland wine is one of Australia’s youngest and most dynamic and innovative wine regions, that offers a diverse, adaptable and delectable wine experience like no other.
The Riverland region has a warm, Mediterranean climate that is dedicated to viticultural quality through 'world's best practices' in irrigation, clone selection and vineyard management techniques.
Internationally, the Riverland is responsible for a major percentage of all Australian wines exported overseas. Domestically, the Riverland accounts for approximately half of South Australia's total crush and around one quarter of Australia's production of wine.
