Casa Real Cabernet Sauvignon

This 100% old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon shows tremendous potential and typicity in the broadest sense of the word. Deep, intense ruby-red in color, with complex aromas of red fruits, plums, cherries, and notes of ripe black fruits such as blackberries and blueberries combine with a sweet touch of vanilla and coffee. The balance of fruit and acidity complemented by sweet and silky tannins promises long cellaring potential.

Product category: Valle del Maipo

The nose shows tremendous elegance, with lively aromas of black fruits in balance with sweet spices as well as nuances of earth and smoke mixed with the balsamic notes that are characteristic of Maipo. On the palate, an initial friendly sweetness leads to juicy acidity, and smoky notes, chocolate, and spice appear on the long finish. It is still a very young wine, but the great structure of soft, ripe tannins as well as the bright acidity reveal a long life ahead during which time the charmingly rustic tannins will become smoothly polished.
