While ProWein is aimed at trade visitors, ‘ProWein goes city’ (13-18 March 2025) brings together end consumers, gastronomy and the specialist wine trade as well as international winegrowers. And it has been doing so with great success since 2007. Thousands of connoisseurs attend every year to take part in tastings in wine shops, savour moderated wine menus or experience extraordinary events under the motto ‘Wine meets art, music or design’. This will be the case again at the upcoming ProWein, three days before the start of the trade fair - from 13 March.
This year, around 70 restaurants, hotels and specialist retailers are taking part in the joint initiative of Messe Düsseldorf and the Destination Düsseldorf trade association with over 130 events. Whether Georgian wine or Japanese sake evening, French gourmet tasting or Big Bottle Party, presentation of young winegrowers or wine tasting with top international producers: the programme is diverse. Champagne and cocktail lovers can also look forward to numerous tastings with sparkling and high-proof enjoyment at ProWein goes city. Wine tastings with a DJ or live music in a relaxed atmosphere ensure a relaxed end to the event.
Be inspired by the 2025 programme and find your favourite event! We recommend that you book in advance as places are limited.
