The wine and spirits industry stands at a turning point. Markets are shifting, certainties are eroding, and familiar answers are no longer sufficient. In this environment, it is no longer enough to optimise what already exists. What is needed is the courage to fundamentally rethink the questions we ask.
With the Visionary Talks, ProWein creates a platform for precisely this change in perspective. This is not about quick fixes or easy consensus, but about conviction, orientation, and strategic thinking. It is about defining what this industry wants to stand for—and how it can position itself for a sustainable future.

What if quality today is nothing more than the entry ticket? What if export alone is no longer the answer – but strategic diversification is? And what if the industry too rarely asks why people should still choose to drink wine at all?
In the latest ProWein Visionary Talk, Johannes Leitz, Marian Kopp, Christoph Graf (Schloss Vaux) and Prof. Dr. Simone Loose tackle exactly these questions – sharp, controversial and far beyond well-rehearsed routines.
No panel. No buzzword bingo. But a curated impulse for an industry in transition.
