“The Spirits Business” addresses global business issues on stage
Another highlight of ProSpirits will be the education programme curated by The Spirits Business on the dedicated area of Hall 7. Leading figures from the international spirits industry will discuss the sector’s key challenges and opportunities here – from market and consumer trends to technology to on-trade trends as well as distribution and retail.
The panels will be facilitated by Melita Kiely, editor-in-chief of The Spirits Business. Speakers include Prof. Dr. Simone Loose, author of the ProWein Business Report & ProSpirits Report, Ian Somerhalder (Brother’s Bond) as well as representatives of renowned brands such as Choya Umeshu, San Cosme Mezcal, Origen X, Thomas Henry and MG Distillery.
“We were thrilled to present The Spirits Business Hub at ProSpirits 2025 for the first time – and are delighted to return with its second edition in 2026,” says Melita Kiely. Alongside panel discussions and talks the programme includes spirits tastings, cocktail Masterclasses and a high-calibre bar presence. “We're not shying away from important topics impacting the industry – from Gen-Z consumption habits to geopolitical challenges to the question of what bartenders really expect from brands.”

With its international focus, valuable knowledge formats and strongly immersive quality ProSpirits 2026 will become the pivotal point of contact for bartending staff, mixologists as well as retailers.
