World's Best Sommeliers' Selection

The 2026 World's Best Sommeliers' Selection, led by Mugaritz Head Sommelier Kristell Monot , announced a curated list of 115 wines from 16 countries, with Italy leading with 20 entries, followed by Portugal. The selection highlighted diverse global producers, including New Zealand's Rose Family Estate - the 2025 Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc - the only NZ entry in the list.
