The anticipation of seeing business partners from all over the world again has the entire wine and spirits industry gripped! As the world’s leading trade fair for the sector, we here in Düsseldorf even noticed this longing very clearly during the preparation phase.
Nicole Funke, Senior Project Manager ProWein Exhibitor Service for Italy, Austria, Greece and “same but different”
"However you organise a ProWein doesn’t matter, Just please organise one!” – This is pretty much what the wishes of my exhibitors from Italy sounded like with regard to our event. So this year we saw 15 to 17 May 2022 as a safe alternative for ProWein 2022. The whole world will be able to arrive in Düsseldorf thanks to this late date with fewer restrictions. There has already been a lot of positive feedback for this decision, which we have gladly taken as an incentive to meticulously prepare our trade fair with the usual diversity.
The broad, international selection of products on offer makes ProWein unique for all those who do business with wine, champagne, spirits and craft drinks. Based on our motto this year “Let’s reunite for business!”, I would also like to invite you, on behalf of the entire ProWein team, to visit Italy, Austria, Greece and around 60 other countries at the exhibition centre in Düsseldorf.
I would like to give you a small insight into our offer in general and in particular into the Italian range. Next month, my colleague Petra will give you an idea of what the Germans and French are presenting.
I look forward to seeing you!
Kind regards, Nicole Funke
Your outlook for May:
Italian flair by the hall: Our exhibitors from Italy have missed ProWein very much during the last two years and are now looking forward to coming back to us in Düsseldorf even more. ALL the Italian exhibitors from the previous events have registered again and therefore all 20 wine regions will be represented again. This makes us proud and shows just how important our trade fair is.
In Hall 15 you will find Northern Italy. In Hall 16 German importers and agencies are set up with their winegrowers, as well as top-selling Italian companies. You will also come across exhibitors from Tuscany here. Central and southern Italy are represented in Hall 17. The largest joint participations come from Tuscany, Piedmont and Veneto. In addition to Italy's top-selling companies such as Zonin, Botter and Fratelli Martini, many top producers will be presenting themselves, including Castello di Ama from Tuscany, Elena Walch from South Tyrol or Elio Altare from Piedmont.
Perhaps you’re now thinking of the Italian proverb “Chi dorme non piglia pesci!” – in English: “You snooze, you lose.” – and will book your tickets today!
Many opportunities: At ProWein, however, variety also means that you can experience renowned Champagne houses, lectures and various special shows.
The same – but different! It is impossible to imagine ProWein without a show that is very special in its own way: the “same but different” trend show, where everything revolves around delicious craft drinks, once again brings together inspiration and trends from all over the world. Around 120 exhibitors from the craft spirits, craft beer and cider sectors await you in Hall 7.0. Be sure to stop by. It’s worth it!
