What is the significance of ProWein in the context of your entire marketing activities - both nationally and internationally?
- nationally: trade, HoReCa - internationally: export markets USA, Netherlands, UK, Scandinavia, Asia
ProWein plays a very important role in our global marketing mix. With regard to our export markets USA, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Scandinavia and Asia, it is the central platform for reaching the relevant target groups. With regard to the German sales market, the focus is primarily on trade visitors from the HoReCa and retail sectors.
What special activities have you developed after the postponement of ProWein this year to promote sales of your wines and spirits? Do you perhaps have particularly outstanding examples?
Are you already developing plans for ProWein 2021, and how concretely do they look?
Rheinhessen presentation with all the participants that already had booked for 2020.
We are fully focused to realise a representative presence from Rheinhessen in the next year - just as large as it would have been this year. The workshop topics are already in place and only need to be finalised. These are concrete: drink pink, Riesling village wines, Pinot power, time for Silvaner. Exciting things await ProWein visitors here.
What three things are you looking forward to most with regard to ProWein 2021?
That ProWein will really take place; no obstacles for the international visitors & and a successful business for all exhibitors.
