Rheinbahn has announced a full-day strike in public transportation for Tuesday, March 17, 2026. There will also be a strike on Monday, March 16; however, this will affect only internal company operations. To ensure your arrival and departure go smoothly, Messe Düsseldorf has responded immediately by organizing special transportation with 30 additional shuttle buses.

The shuttle routes connect the exhibition grounds with the city’s main transportation hubs—Main Station, Downtown/Old Town, Seestern/Oberkassel, and Düsseldorf Airport.

This ensures that both visitors and our exhibitors can reliably get to the trade fair and back.

Good to know: The strike affects only the last day of the trade fair (Tuesday). Public transportation will run as usual on Sunday and Monday. Deutsche Bahn trains are not affected.

In addition, service staff will be on hand at key stops and on the exhibition grounds to assist visitors.
