Proceeds to be donated to the charity “Wine Saves Life e.V.”
At the forthcoming ProWein Messe Düsseldorf will once again be supporting the charity “Wine Saves Life e.V.”. Visitors and exhibitors to ProWein can take part in a prize draw, win one of three works of art and help children in need at the same time. Wiesbaden-based artist Nina Stölting was so thrilled with this move that she spontaneously made available three of her paintings free of charge. Tickets for the draw can be purchased for the price of € 5.00 each at the “Wine Saves Life” info stand in Hall 6 (Tasting Area).
Appropriately enough, Nina Stölting’s entire work revolves around the wine theme. What expert authors manage to describe in words is conveyed by means of art by Nina Stölting: she describes wine bouquets in her paintings. The history of civilisation, wine and aroma form a sensual unit. In the Tasting Zone - where some selected artworks by the 39-year-old artist are on display - visitors and exhibitors can convince themselves of this gift.
Information on “Wine Saves Life e.V.”
The charitable organisation “Wine Saves Life e.V.“ from Wiesbaden has helped children in need since 2001. “Every year we concentrate on one or two pro-jects and provide tangible assistance to protect and save childrens’ lives. This is easily achievable for the price of a good bottle of wine,” says Joachim Binz, Chairman of the organisation officially recognised as non-profit-making charity, pinpointing the objectives pursued by “Wine Saves Life”. Launched by eight founding members, the organisation now counts on 63 private mem-bers and institutions and companies.
Three completely different works are to be won at ProWein:
1. Prize – an original lithography “Riesling” (70 x 100 cm)
2. Prize – a three-piece original lithography “Vesperwein, Sommerwein, Aperitif” (each 35 x 50 cm)
3. Prize – three wine leaf cards, original lithographies
The three winners will be chosen in the presence of a notary on the day after ProWein who will then be notified and will receive the works of art by mail.
