ProWein’s New Artwork To Feature A “New Look and Outlook”

ProWein, the world’s most important wine and spirits trade show, held annually at the Duesseldorf Messe Fairgrounds in Duesseldorf, Germany, in anticipation of its 15th anniversary to be held March 16 – 18th, 2008, is marking this event with the introduction of new graphics and visual elements. The new look will mirror a “new viewpoint” reflecting the toasting-slogan, “To Another Great Year!”
The new visuals and the forward-looking slogan - anticipating great ProWein’s and great vintages to come - are fitting tributes to ProWein’s unique place in the industry. This just follows the completion of ProWein 2007, which saw record-breaking numbers of exhibitors, (over 3,000,) visitors, more than 32,000 trade visitors, and yet more members of the media than even before, (900) in attendance.

The crowds of enthusiastic viewers who attended the “Wine’s Best Friends” presentations at ProWein 2007 last week or stopped by the “Coffee & Spirits Lounge” to discover new products best consumed with wines or trends in the use of spirits and mixology, also demonstrated ProWein’s aggressive involvement with the periphery aspects of the wine and spirits branch.

“Our new look for ProWein beams liveliness and joy“, says Wilhelm Niedergoeker, Messe Duesseldorf’s managing director. “It also reveals our goal of providing a positive surprise every year for exhibitors and visitors alike, encouraging them to add to the synergy that make this industry forward-looking and vibrant.”

“To Another Great Year” is not merely a wish for the future nor a sign of recognition for what has been completed regarding ProWein or the wine branch but for the entire international wine and spirits world. Innovation and qualitatively good products which will further enhance the market place along with sound practices and good business conditions are implied within its context – and that of the next ProWein to come.
