From the excellent 2006 vintage this wine was produced from select small parcels of our best Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot harvested by hand from the estate.
The four varieties were vinified separately and then aged in new French oak barrels for
12 months. Only the best barrels are selected for this blend and then aged a further 6 months in French oak in order to enhance its complexity and to ensure that the finished wine reflects both the passion and commitment of the Pizzorno family.
Bottled: On June 4th, 2009, without filtering to preserve maximum potential of the vineyard.
Potential Storage: 10 years
