The most frequently asked questions answered directly for you:
Why has ProWein just been moved to this date in May 2022?
We have discussed the few date options for 2022 with the associations and exhibitor representatives and reached a joint decision for this date. Under the current circumstances, 15 – 17 May 2022, allows the greatest possible planning security for all involved. Exhibitors can now focus on the new date and align their trade show preparations accordingly. There will also be no immediate overlaps with other trade shows during this period of the year. Based on numerous expert statements, we assume that the situation will most likely calm down by early summer 2022 as a result of the current measures in almost all European countries. With CARAVAN SALON, A+A and Medica 2021, we have already shown that successful trade fairs are possible even in corona times under the greatest possible protection for all parties involved. ProWein is well booked and we expect further commitments for the new date.
How will the postponements affect the subsequent dates of ProWein?
ProWein will take place in March 2023 as scheduled.
What do you do with the registrations that have already been confirmed?
The admissions are still valid and we will take over the registration made for March for the new period from 15 – 17 May 2022. The exhibitor does not have to take any action. However, potential exhibitors who have not yet registered for ProWein 2022 will first be put on the waiting list due to the good booking situation.
What can exhibitors do who have already withdrawn or have declared that they will not participate and now want to register again for the new dates?
Feel free to contact their responsible contact person in the ProWein team by mail:
Do OOS services booked with Messe Düsseldorf have to be cancelled and rebooked?
No, all contracts concluded directly with Messe Düsseldorf regarding ProWein remain valid for the new date. This does not automatically apply to contracts with third parties, even if these have been concluded via the Online Order System - OOS provided by the trade fair company. In this case, please contact the relevant service partners directly.
What happens if a company does not want to participate at the new date in 2022?
In that case, the conditions of participation apply. Messe Düsseldorf will try to rent the space rented to the exhibitor to someone else in order to minimize the costs for the exhibitor. At best, the exhibitor will then only have to pay 25% of the participation fee. If it is not possible to rent the space to another party, the exhibitor will be charged the agreed participation fee.
Will exhibitors get the same stand space at the next event in May?
We will adopt the hall layout one-to-one for the new date in early summer.
Do you compensate your customers for costs incurred so far due to booked flight and train tickets, hotel accommodation, etc.?
We understand the difficult situation resulting from the postponement. Please contact the respective provider to clarify open questions and find solutions. We are unable to provide any information on customers' contracts with third-party providers, as these have not been entered into with Messe Düsseldorf.
