Azienda Agricola Vitivinicola Olivastri Tommaso born in 2000, from a great passion and family tradition continued through more than two generations, and that found in the person of Mr. Tommaso Olivastri (founder and owner of the company) the ambition and motivation decisive for its realization. The geographic location ensures the vineyards an optimal climate to grow up a quality primary product. San Vito Chietino, small town near Chieti, is located on rolling hills facing directly on the sea of a country like l’Abruzzo, where sun, sea breeze and a good night temperature range, ensure an excellent ripening of grapes. Production chain, followed and treated directly by the owner, is highly attentive to the quality of its products, especially starting from their base,the vineyards. These, infact, passes exclusively across manual working processes. Harvest is made by means of a special selection of grapes, picked only when the ripening process has reached completion. In this way we manage to create the condition to obtain a wine of rich colors, fragrances, flavors and texture of grapes cultivated with extreme dedication . In winery wines are followed step by step, through the process from grinding of grapes and succeeding fermentation of musts, up to wine, firm and ripe. So through a great result, authenticity of a passion pursued with sacrifice and constancy, reaches the consumer. Wines are sold in elegant 75 cl bottles, in cases of 2, 3, 6 or 12 (which allow the bottles to remain horizontal. This is essential to allow wine like these, produced with such care, to retain their characteristics over time). The Olivastri Tommaso winemaking has been growing grapes for generations, most notably the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo and Pecorino Terre di Chieti quality. Respect for tradition, in its rhythms and cultivation methods, combind with a modern outlook on winemaking techniques and controls finds an ideal balance, yielding wine of great quality.
