Our history starts in 2005, only one year after the beginning of the construction works of the winery, when the very first batch of Crama Ceptura wine was tasted.
Today, after 10 years of experience, Crama Ceptura has a production capacity of about 10 million bottles per year, a wine production volume of 10,000 tons of grapes per season, a storage capacity of around 6 million liters of wine, all served by sophisticated state-of-the-art technological equipment.
All these to make sure that at every point of the process, from the harvesting of crops up to wine bottling and distribution, we take maximum advantage of the 14 extra-days of sunshine that nature generously offers us.
For more than 10 years, the remarkable qualities of the wine produced by Crama Ceptura have been appreciated not only by Romanian consumers, but also by the foreign lovers of this noble liquor. Since 2005, right from the heart of Dealu Mare vineyard, our experts’ best varieties have set out and reached wine lovers’ glasses all around the world: Feteasca Regala, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Feteasca Neagra, Merlot, Syrah, Muscat Ottonel, Pinot Noir.
