Palate: Full bodied, with excellent structure and balance, showing smooth tannins, elegant, with persistent and long finish

Dishes: Will matchperfectly with red meat, game pie or soft cheeses

Casa Cadaval is located 80km to the north of Lisbon, Portugal, on the left bank of the river Tagus. The Herdade de Muge estate has been in the family of Alvares Pereira de Melo (Cadaval) since 1648, and consists of more than 5400 hectares.

Nowadays,  CasaCadaval has a reputation for their wine production. The facilities include a wine boutique that will enable you to taste our wines in their best surroundings. Casa Cadaval also has unique conditions for wine tourism and is part of the Tejo region wine route.

Casa Cadaval is also well known for being one of the oldest Lusitano horse breeders in the world.

The stables on the estate include indoor and outdoor riding arenas with a viewing gallery which allows visitors to see and experience the precision and ability of our Lusitano horses.

The tradition of Casa Cadaval can be seen in the awards won by our wines and Lusitano horses.
