Domaines Rouvinez is a family-owned wine estate established in 1947 by Bernard Rouvinez, an independent wine merchant, and then expanded and developed by his sons, Dominique and Jean-Bernard, both of whom are wine growers and oenologists. The family tradition is assured with the entry into the company of Véronique Besson-Rouvinez, as oenologist and quality manager, Philippe Rouvinez as responsible for commercial activities, and Frédéric Rouvinez as managing director.
Right from the beginning the Rouvinez family chose to direct their attention to vintage wine ranges focusing on Arvine and Cornalin, which are local specialities. They have played a pioneering role in the development of blends, namely Tourmentin, Tremaille and Grains Nobles.
Since 2011, the Rouvinez family continues its quest for excellence with the production of two crus originating from exceptional terroirs: the Coeur de Domaine blanc and the Coeur de Domaine rouge, raised in 6'000 litre oak barrels.
The estate has expanded extensively due to successive acquisition of vineyards. Moreover, the wine tasting centres as well as its visitors' area have undergone significant renovations.
Rouvinez Vins is amongst the most renowned wine estates in the country and, owing to its growing popularity, now exports some of its wines abroad.
