AD MIRA I.G.T. PUGLIA

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Primitivo
ALCOHOL: 15,5% vol.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18°- 20°

FEATURES: Fruit of a rigorous selection of grapes coming from very old vines. Fermented in stainless steel tasks at a controlled temperature with careful pumpovers and délestages for about 2 weeks.
After 8 months in French barriques of first and second passage, the wine is refined in bottle for about 6 months.

BOUQUET: Elegant, powerful, with hints of prunes in syrup and cherries in alcohol and with a light and delicious boisé.
PALATE: Sumptuous, wide and fat.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Excellent with roasts, game and aged cheese.

MEMOR I.G.T. PUGLIA

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Primitivo
ALCOHOL: 16% vol.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 14° - 15°

FEATURES: A wine produced from grapes picked quite late from their plants. Long maceration at a temperature of 26° C. Frequent pumpovers allow a natural fermentation, with a good sweet natural residue, but only in very sunny years.

BOUQUET: Very elegant and complex, with strong hints of ripe red fruit and jam.
PALATE: Powerful but velvety and the high alcohol percentage guarantees a long and delicious finish.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Excellent with roasts, game or aged cheeses.

RUBEO I.G.T. PUGLIA

GRAPE VARIETY: Nero di Troia, Bombino Nero
ALCOHOL: 13% vol.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 12° - 14°

FEATURES: Criomaceration at a temperature of 5° C. Soft pressing and extraction of the must after 5 hours, then controlled fermentation at a temperature of 14° C in stainless steel fermenting tasks. The RUBEO is refined on thin dregs for 3 months with some periodic batonage.

BOUQUET: Soft and flowery, with a strong hint of rennet.
PALATE: Fresh and pleasant.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Excellent with sushi and sashimi, fish, seafood and white meats.

Company details

The Ferri family has been devoted to viticulture and wine production since the beginning of the twentieth century in Adelfia, a little town near Bari (Apulia). In the Seventies, the family moved to nearby Valenzano, where it built the present winery, with a capacity of about 6,000 hectolitres. The winery is located not far from the Romanesque Abbey of Ognissanti di Cuti from the eleventh century and is well equipped to pursue the best quality. It works with autochthonous grapes like: “PRIMITIVO di GIOIA del COLLE”, “NERO di TROIA”, “BOMBINO black and white”, “ROSATO”, “CHARDONNAY”, “GARGANEGA”, “CABERNET SAUVIGNON”, “MONTEPULCIANO”, “SANGIOVESE”. Ferri's aim is to produce well structured, opulent and soft wines, which reflect Apulia territory, its history, art and culture.
