RASEA IS A TOP QUALITY RED WINE FROM THE ONLY ONE SORT OF GRAPES – SANGIOVESE. IT IS THE BLEND OF THE BEST GRAPE LOTS OF THIS SORT THAT ARE CAREFULLY SELECTED FROM ALL OF THE VINEYARDS. THE WINE IS AGED FOR EIGHT MONTHS IN BARREL, AND SIX MONTHS IN BOTTLE AND HAS A VIVID RUBY COLOR. THE NOSE IS RICH OF RED FRUITS LIKE CHERRY, FLOWERS LIKE VIOLET, AND SPICES LIKE PEPPER AND CINNAMON. RASEA IS A FULL BODIED WINE WITH ROUND BEGINNING, STRONG MIDDLE MOUTH AND LONG AND FRESH AFTERTASTE. IT HAS A VERY LONG AGEING POTENTIAL.

THE WINE IS MEDIUM TO FULL BODY DEPENDING ON THE VINTAGE AND HAS LONG TENDER AFTERTASTE. PREFERABLY SERVED AT A ROOM TEMPERATURE WITH FRIED MEAT, HAM.

AFTER AGEING FOR SIX MONTHS IN A BARREL AND FOR THREE MONTHS IN A BOTTLE ROSSO TOSCANA ACQUIRES DEEP RUBY-VIOLET COLOR AND NOSE RICH OF RASPBERRY, BLACKBERRY AND PLUM. ITS BODY IS FULL, ROUND AND VELVET, THE AFTERTASTE IS LONG. ROSSO TOSCANA HAS A MEDIUM AGEING POTENTIAL AROUND EIGHT YEARS. IT PERFECTLY COMBINES WITH RED TYPES OF MEAT AND MEDITERRANEAN KITCHEN. IN THE TIMES OF BONCI CASUCCINI IT WAS A TECHNICAL BUILDING USED FOR AGRICULTURAL PURPOSES OF THE MAIN ESTATE CHIANCIANO, BUT IT WOULD BE A CRIME NOT TO RE-EQUIP IT INTO THE WINERY WHICH FINALLY HAPPENED THAT IS WHY NOW POGGIO DEL MORO TAKES LEADING POSITIONS AMONG TUSCANY WINERIES THAT ARE FAIRLY CONSIDERED TO BE THE BEST IN ITALY. THIS WINE ENTERPRISE IS AIMED AT A SOLICITOUS CARE OF VINEYARDS FOLLOWING ALL ECOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGIES – THEY ARE MANUALLY CULTIVATED WITH STRICT RESPECT FOR THE ITALIAN TRADITIONS AND SECRETS.
