About us

Company details

At the end of 1960, the Farm Zuffa Pietro and Sons, bui1t the first nucleus of the winery, which was to earn a growing reputation and several awards, including the gold medal for Sangiovese, in 1974. The current wine cellar, now moved a short distance from today's trattoria "La Cantinetta", dates back to the beginning of a more modern wine-making technique, with the installation of a cooling system with automatic control of individual barrels, followed by the full restoration of the old barrels in concrete, and by the simultaneous purchase of a pneumatic grape press and special steel tanks for the automated processing of red grape musts.
