• Color: Ruby red with purple reflex.
• Bouquet: Intense and persistent, elegant, distinctive, with flavors of cherry, prune, white pepper..
• Taste: Dry, well-structured, fruity, full.
• Storage: Suitable for aging.
• Serving temperature: 18-20°
• Serving suggestions: Bagna cauda, soups, boiled meat, semi-hard cheeses and meats.
• Alcohol content: 13,5° ( 2014) – 14° ( 2015)

• Colour: Intense ruby red with purple hues.
• Bouquet: Deep and persistent, fruity with notes of cherry, raspberry prune, and almond.
• Taste: Warm, dry, sapid, harmonious, soft, with an aftertaste of medium tannins.
• Serving temperature: 16-18°
• Storage: Bottled wine is ready, but for at least 3-4 years refines, improves its characteristics and acquires elegance
• Serving suggestions: Well served with pasta dishes with meat sauce (e.g. Bolognese), meat dishes, sausages and aged cheeses.
• Alcohol content: 13° ( 2014 – 2015)

CHARACTERISTC OF THE WINE
• Color: Light ruby red with garnet reflexes.
• Bouquet: Intens, persistent, fine, with flavour of rose, blackberry, white peppe.
• Taste: Soft, dry, with almond and bitter aftertaste..
• Storage: Drunk young has a strong and nervous taste, gaining velvet after short aging.
• Serving temperature: 15-16° C. In summer it may be drunk cold.
• Serving suggestions: Hot appetizers, meat, soups, fried meat. It is good with fried or grilled fishes.
• Alcohol content: 13° ( 2014) – 13,5° ( 2015)

Cascina Montariolo comes from the passion for vineyards and wines of Pirola Family.

Thanks to the great quality of the grapes, the winery produces wines which are expression of the Monferrato terroir. Cascina Montariolo is located on the highest hill of the surrounding territory and it is cultivated in a total sustain of the environment, with great passion.

Cascina Montariolo produces in its 4 ectars of land: Barbera d’Asti DOCG, Piemonte Grignolino DOC, Monferrato Dolcetto DOC e Monferrato Freisa DOC.

Those wines represent the concrete results to the exhaustive research aimed at the constant improvement of the art of winemaking.

Fine and frank wines, strong in aromas always marked by a soul strongly linked to the Monferrato terroir.
