Obtained from the most important grape of Langhe:
Nebbiolo from Barolo

Soil: clay-limestone Elveziano. Land and climate are the basis for the production of great red wines with long aging determine their character that makes them unique.

Pressing grapes: grapes are crushed - mechanical

Produced in limited quantities.

Vineyard area: CORNELIANO / NOVELLO
Soil: Sandy, calcareous – Clayet. The soil is of very ancient origin, characterized by the “Rocche” (Sandy and friable).
They constitute an excellent environment for the production of wines austere, but of particular finesse and elegance with floral and fruity notes.
Plant density: 5000 Vines / Ha
Average age of vines: 18-20 years
Yielt per plant: 2 Kg
Exposure: West, South-West
Variety: ARNEIS and CHARDONNAY
Pressing grapes: grapes are crusched-mechanical.
Fermentation: vinification of the must at controlled temperature.
Yeasts: selected yeasts. Autochthonous.
Ageing: The Arneis has a refinement in steel tanks for 10 months and the Chardonnay passed in barrels (0% new) for 12 months. During all the aging process, the decisions are made only after careful evaluations and continuous tastings.
Alcohol: 13,00 % Vol
Colour: intense straw yellow, with golden reflections
Bouquet: intense, characteristic, with hints of flowers, white fruits and vanilla.
Taste: important and generous. Slight aftertaste of almond and vanilla. Very long.
It is a fine complement to aged cheeses, the important flavors, crustaceans, oysters and foie gras.

MOSCATO D’ASTI D.O.C.G.

Moscato d'Asti is a large aromatic fragrance product, sweet and fresh sensations of great harmony and pleasantness. It pairs well with desserts after meals, fresh fruit, with pastries at any time of the day.

Vineyard area: SANTO STEFANO BELBO
Soil: Geological origin or tertiary Miocene, marine sedimentation. It is essentially characterized by light gray marl and sandstone (Langhiano - Serravaliano).
Plant density: 4000 Vines / Ha Average age of vines: 30-40 anni
Yielt per plant: 3 Kg
Exposure: suuth - West
Variety: MOSCATO BIANCO
Pressing grapes: soft pressing
Fermentation: in refrigerated steel for the conservation of the must, until ready to use.
Yeasts: selected yeasts. Autochthonous.
Ageing: the filtered must is kept in cold storage at a controlled temperature, around zero degrees celsius, until the time of processing for fermentation.
Alcohol: 5,5 % Vol
Colour: straw yellow color more or less intense depending on the vintage.
Bouquet: intense but delicate with hints of flowers and fruits
Taste: elegant, refined. The delicate and balanced sweet are given by the fruity aromas typical of the Muscat grapes.
Best served at a temperature of 8-10 ° C.

To taste a bottle of Alta Langa is a unique experience to discover of the style that every producer shall use in interpreting a wonderful territory for the creation of sparkling wine Piemontese classic method that have a common pedigree.

Harvest (hand-picked): late August, first week of September
Vineyard area: ROCCHETTA PALAFEA E CASTINO
Soil: Calcareous marl rich in coarse sand and silt
Average age of vines: 15-25 anni
Yelt: 9T/Ha
Height of vineyards: 450 – 500 m.  s.l.m
Variety: CHARDONNAY – PINOT NERO
Fermentation: in late August;soft pressing with removal of the first portion of the crushed grapes (5%); static decantation and follow alcoholic fermentation in steel for 20 days. No malolactic fermentation for Chardonnay, while is done for Pinot Noir in barrique second passage. In the spring following you create the cuvee. After that we proceed to “tirage” adding sugar and selected yeasts. The bottles will be located for 36 months in a temperature controlled environment to perform a slow second fermentation, after which will be carried out the “degorgment” with the addition of a small dose of “liqueur de tirage”
Ageing: 36 mesi
Alcohol: 12 % Vol
Colour: Straw yellow with green highlights. The sparkle is fine and very persistent
Bouquet: Intense and complex but delicate with hints of bread crust

I was born in the region of Piemonte in a small town called Canelli which is situated between the most important wine areas of the Langhe and Monferrato – the birth place of the very first Italian sparkling wine.
The rolling hills are bursting with vineyards where you can’t help but “breathe in” the wonderful scent of the harvest, and witness the endless discussions between the farmers and their workers trying to determine whether it could be a “great year”!
Maybe it was a path already laid out before me – the combination of my passion and love for beautiful objects, my love of good food and of course great wine – that have led me to to take on this role of “independent spirit”, whose work is dedicated to bringing excellent quality products to market.
Rigorous selection is at the heart of everything I do – nothing is left to chance.
It is a process of my constant search for land with the best soil and exposure to the sun, the optimum age of the vines that give the best quality grapes through low yields, and the absolute minimum use of pesticide treatments – all these elements combined to offer unique wines.
My overriding quest and commitment is to offer products capable of seducing and expressing great emotions.
