Chardonnay Laguna di Sopra

In the vineyard: This white wine is obtained by the Chardonnay vineyard called “Laguna di Sopra”, characterized by fresh and calcareous clay soil.

In the cellar: 30% of the grape do the fermentation into stainless steel tanks and the other 70% into French barriques. The ageing is 9 months long in the same percentage of the alcoholic fermentation.

The wine: The colour is brilliant and gold, the aroma is intense with notes of tropical fruits, spices and lemon, the palate is with incredible persistence, exceptional savoury finish.

Condé Rosé

In the vineyard: This rosé is obtained entirely by Sangiovese vineyards, characterized by calcareous and fresh soils. The winter pruning and thinning are intended to enhance the primary aromas, as well as the pleasant acidity.

In the cellar: The grapes are harvested, kept at low temperature and immediately conducted into the cellar for the soft press. After the first clarifies the alcoholic fermentation starts at low temperature. The wine is then ages on lees for 4/5 months and the malolactic fermentation not takes place as to preserve the freshness that distinguishes it.

The wine: The colour is pale, clear and pink with shades of orange, the aroma is fresh and intense with scents of fruit and flower, the palate is incredibly fresh with a mineral long finish.

Superior Condé Sangiovese di Romagna

In the vineyard: The wide variability of exposure and the composition of our soils draw on all of the typical nuances, from fruity and flowery notes to those richer in tannins and structure.

In the cellar: The grapes after the manual harvest are taken to the cellar and placed into stainless steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature. Pump-overs and délestage are the procedures followed during the vinification, with the aim to extract the noble compounds of the berries. After that there is a period of maceration post fermentation, that can be more or less short. The malolactic fermentation happens in stainless steel tanks.

The Wine: This Sangiovese is an intense red wine, capable of combining a rich tannic structure and a fresh elegant drink. For this wine are assembled the most fruity and floral parcels, to make the wine versatile and extremely enjoyable.

Company details

Appreciation and respect for the terroir and for the traditions form the basis of the Condé philosophy. The desire to honour this natural and historical heritage saw the decision to plant mostly Sangiovese grapes on the estate which were native to the Predappio hills,  its chosen territory for centuries, flanked to a lesser extent by Merlot.

The production philosophy is expressed through the constant quest for excellence. This vision involves an ongoing dialogue between man and nature. Nature dictates the rhythms of our work  and the land dictates the timing of work in the vineyard, the characteristics of the grapes which control the vinification and the young wine articulates the long silences as it rests in the cellar. Man keeps at a discreet distance during this process, helping nature express its very own soul. The aim is to produce great wines which will be able to tell the story of a place; a story lasting a season, made up of sunshine, wind and rain.
