The Settecani Cellar was founded in 1923.
Since the beginning QUALITY, AUTHENTICITY AND TRADITION identify and represent us.
Thanks to several improvements over the years, the wine cellar has reached its maximum production potential, remaining loyal to its core values.
Support for members and detailed attention to all the production steps from quality grapes selection before crushing to traditional and high-technology vinification, allowed us to obtain premium wines able which can satisfy the most demanding customers.
In 1999 the wine cellar obtained the ISO 9001 Quality System for the production, sales and commercialization of both bottled and bulk wines.
In addition, Cantina Settecani has developed production and sale of cooked must used for the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
Through our products and the elegant packaging Cantina Settecani aims to share its heritage, by showing its authentic passion for wine.
Settecani cellar is part of Consortium for the Historic Mark of Modena Lambrusco.
Settecani cellar has participated in various wine competitions obtaining important awards such as the great Gold Medal at the International Wine Competition Vinitaly in 2009 and the Silver Medal in the 2011 edition.
The 2011 was a really successful year:
• Lambrusco Grasparossa of Castelvetro Dry DOP "Vini del Re - Wines of the King" won the award for the value assigned price-quality ratio by the guide Berebene low-cost edit by Gambero Rosso
• the wine cellar was also mentioned on the Italian Wines Guide 2012 Gambero Rosso
• it was also cited in the insert on the Romanesque Modena stage as recommended by the magazine Bell'Italia
Even in 2012 the Lambrusco Grasparossa Castelvetro Dry DOP got the Regional Oscar for the best product mix assigned by the guide Berebene 2013 Gambero Rosso .
