Nestled in Zahle in the fertile Beqaa Valley of Lebanon, renowned for its premium wine and rich history, Domaine Wardy has roots that date back to 1891. Today Domaine Wardy makes award-winning Lebanese wines and arak that are synonymous with depth, complexity and elegance. And the winery is where this success story starts.
Domaine Wardy's winery has a grape handling area, where only the best handpicked grapes are sorted and pressed. Once the grapes are ready for use, stainless steel and concrete fermentation tanks create the perfect reaction and imported French, American and Eastern European oak barrels are used to age the wines. Because quality is at the heart of everything we do, we have a modern, fully-equipped laboratory to ensure all our wine and arak meet international standards. The latest wine filtering equipment and a completely automated twin bottling and labelling line with a capacity of 3,000 bottles per hour then add the finishing touches. To preserve the wine in ideal conditions before it reaches your glass, we have a wine storage area with constantly monitored temperature (14°-16°C) and humidity (65-75%) around the clock. We also have an underground tasting area (cellar) for visitors who wish to sample our products.
