About us

Company details

Château Ksara, founded in 1857 by Jesuit Priests, is Lebanon’s oldest winery, preserving Lebanon’s rich wine making heritage for over 150 years and laying the foundations of the modern wine industry.

The Bekaa Valley has its own unique micro-climate – hot summer days and cool nights with generous of rainfall and snow in winter – with vineyards planted at between 1000 – 1300 m. The soil is non-homogenous clay and limestone. These optimal conditions, which produce wines with freshness complexity and roundness, make the Bekaa one of the most important wine making regions in the world.
