Since 2005, Konstantin Weiser and Alexandra Künstler produce together with old, mostly ungrafted Riesling vines in exceptional vineyard sites at the middle mosel and in accordance with the rich flora and fauna very special wines.
We produce Riesling wines for every day, in addition to expressive, mineral site-specific wines of the highest quality, both dry-tasting wines, as well as the so-called classic predicate wines from the fruity Kabinett, Spätlese, Auslese to the delicately sweet TBA.
All our wines bring the characteristics of their place of origin and the respective vintage very clearly. At the moment, we cultivate circa 3.5 ha of Riesling. The vines are old and about 80 percent of them are ungrafted. Our vines are planted on slate soils from the Devonian Period. The steep sites include Enkircher Ellergrub, Enkircher Steffensberg, Trabener Gaispfad and Wolfer Sonnenlay.
We don’t see ourselves as winemakers, but as respectful companions in the development of the grape to wine. In the vineyards as in the cellar we work ecologically. Our wines ferment spontaneously and are all vegan.
