At the beginning of the ‘90s, Beatrice Lucangeli and StefanoAymerich di Laconi, both of noble lineage with interesting historical background and a tradition in the Marche agriculture, launched the conversion of the company towards a new vitiviniculture based on great quality.
In its way from the Apennine Mountains to the Adriatic Sea, the Esino river separates a tidy sequence of hills with a winding profile and many bell towers and olive trees, crossed by rows of grapevine. We are in the very heart of Marche, a region with a plural inflection of talents and an ancient agricultural vocation. On top of one of the hills, in front of the noble town of Jesi and on the orographic right of the river, the Tenuta di Tavignano stands out, owned by Lucangeli Aymerch di Laconi family. Here the Verdicchio wine has become a symbol and a flagship. Even if for administrative purposes Tavignano is assigned to the municipality of Cingoli and therefore to the province of Macerata, it must be considered as a fundamental part of the classic Castelli di Jesi area.
